    Gift Shop Manager

Gift Shop Manager Opportunity – Koreshan State Park

Koreshan State Park is rich in history, preserving the legacy of the original settlers and their unique community. Supporting that mission is the Friends of Koreshan, a dedicated group of local and seasonal volunteers who work together to fundraise for park operations. One of their key fundraising efforts is the Ranger Station gift shop—and we’re looking for someone to help it thrive.

    About the Role

The Gift Shop Manager plays an important role in shaping the visitor experience while supporting park preservation efforts. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily and long-term operations of the shop, including:

    • Selecting, ordering, and receiving merchandise
    • Maintaining inventory and tracking sales
    • Styling and organizing displays to create an inviting shopping experience
    • Collaborating with park staff and volunteers on sales and operations
    • Sourcing and building relationships with local vendors to offer unique, meaningful products

    What Makes This Opportunity Special

    • Directly supports fundraising for park operations and preservation
    • Creative freedom to curate and style the shop
    • Opportunity to highlight local artisans and vendors
    • Flexible schedule—this role can be shared among multiple volunteers

Whether you enjoy retail, organization, creative display, or connecting with local makers, this is a rewarding way to contribute to the park’s mission.

    Interested?

If you’d like to learn more, we invite you to apply. We’ll schedule an in-person visit so you can tour the park, explore the gift shop, and see if this opportunity is the right fit for you.
