    Description

    Are you a teen who wants to get out of the house this summer? Or maybe you're a parent looking for opportunities to get your teens out of the house?

    Open up a world of FUN to kids. Be a Summer Arts Camp Counselor at the Sherwood Center for the Arts.

    As a Summer Arts Camp Counselor, you can help inspire kiddos to not be afraid to dream big. Simply go to www.SherwoodOregon.gov/volunteer and click to submit an online volunteer application. It's that simple!

    We have a training starting soon and we're ready for you! Simply apply on our website.

    Excellent for building your babysitting resume! Be inside (air conditioning) and outside (sunshine)! Volunteer with a friend! Great opportunity to flex your leadership muscles.

    Summer Camp volunteers are asked to commit to a full week, Monday through Friday, to provide consistency for the students. Volunteers are welcome to help for 1-8 weeks. Morning only, afternoon only, and full day shifts are available, and the time commitment ranges from 2.5-6 hours per day.
