Looking for a meaningful way to support cancer patients in your community?
Become a Volunteer Driver and help remove transportation barriers for guests undergoing active cancer treatment. With the use of our ACS Courtesy Shuttle, you’ll ensure patients get to and from their appointments safely and on time — all while making a real difference in their lives.

🚐 Volunteer Driver Role Includes:
- Driving guests between Hope Lodge Omaha and nearby treatment centers
- Using an ACS-owned vehicle (no wear and tear on your own!)
- Flexible shifts available Monday–Friday, 4–8 PM
Requirements
- Age between 19-84
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Pass a background and motor vehicle records check
- Complete online training and sign a confidentiality agreement
- Willingness to wear a mask if asked (due to immunocompromised guests)
- If cancer survivor, must be one-year post treatment
