Pro Bono Counsel, Community Legal Support (rebuilt seat)

The Younger Legacy Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building education, family stability, and community wealth from Garfield Heights, Ohio, with partners and volunteers serving across the United States and worldwide online.

YLA families face housing, custody, conflict, and paperwork challenges that a good attorney can cut through in one meeting. Pro bono counsel supports our community legal support hours: guiding families to the right forms and filings, reviewing documents, advising on nonprofit compliance questions, and helping us build a durable legal support department for the community. A legal intern seat pairs with this role, with documented hours and mentorship.

Requirements: licensed attorney in good standing for the counsel seat, family or civil law experience preferred, and availability that we schedule around yours.
