    Time Commitment: 6-12 Months (Unpaid Volunteer Role)

    About Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow

    Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow (EOT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of Black, Brown and immigrant youth entrepreneurs through education, mentorship, and experiential learning. Through programs such as EOT Labs, we equip young leaders with the skills, confidence, and support needed to transform ideas into action.

    Role Overview

    The People Operations Lead (Volunteer) supports the day-to-day people operations functions that help EOT's contributors, volunteers, and interns thrive. This role is responsible for maintaining onboarding processes, workforce coordination, contributor support systems, operational documentation, and engagement initiatives across the organization.

    Working closely with Talent Acquisition, PMO, Department Leads, and Regional Operations teams, the People Operations Lead helps ensure a positive contributor experience while supporting organizational growth and operational excellence.

    This is a volunteer, leadership-focused opportunity designed for individuals interested in human resources, people operations, organizational development, nonprofit management, or workforce administration.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage onboarding workflows and contributor setup processes.
    • Support volunteer and intern operations throughout their lifecycle
    • Maintain operational documentation, records, and people systems.
    • Coordinate contributor communications and support requests.
    • Support workforce tracking and organizational reporting efforts.
    • Assist with implementation of policies, handbooks, and operational procedures.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support smooth transitions from recruitment to onboarding.
    • Collaborate with PMO and Department Leads to ensure workforce readiness and alignment.
    • Support contributor engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
    • Help identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and contributor experience.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Recruiting, Administration, or Project Coordination.
    • Experience supporting onboarding, employee or volunteer engagement, or workforce operations.
    • Familiarity with documentation systems, HR tools, project management platforms, or operational workflows.
    • Previous nonprofit, startup, educational, or community organization experience is a plus.
    • Experience working with remote and cross-functional teams is preferred.
