Description
Volunteer with Purpose at the South Florida Optimism Walk
Join the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) for the South Florida Optimism Walk and help make a meaningful difference for individuals and families impacted by Parkinson’s disease.
Event: South Florida Optimism Walk
Date: Saturday, February 21, 2026
Location: Florida Atlantic University
Time Commitment: Morning shift (various roles available)
Volunteer Roles Include:
- Event setup & breakdown
- Registration and check-in
- Route and water station support
- Cheering on walkers and teams
- Helping create a welcoming, upbeat experience
No prior experience needed—just a positive attitude and willingness to help!
Community service hours available.
