    Description

The mission of EBH is to support individuals and communities in recovering from the psychological impact of natural and man-made disasters (e.g. floods, fires, mass shootings, riots) through community-based outreach. EBH provides short-term assistance to help disaster survivors understand their reactions, develop coping strategies, and connect with resources that aid in their recovery. In the immediate aftermath of a disaster, this assistance takes the form of crisis counseling. Crisis counseling helps survivors recognize that their responses are normal reactions to extraordinary events.
