    Description

    Respect MO Voters is seeking Volunteer Administrative Assistants to help keep our departments organized, supported, and running smoothly.

    Volunteer Administrative Assistants provide behind-the-scenes support to a specific department. Depending on the department's needs, they may help with scheduling, meeting coordination, document organization, email communication, data entry, volunteer tracking, and other administrative tasks that help leaders and volunteers stay focused on the mission.

    This is a fully remote role that can be done from anywhere with a computer and internet connection.

    Responsibilities are based on department need and may include:

    • Support department leaders with administrative and organizational tasks
    • Help maintain documents, spreadsheets, and shared files
    • Assist with scheduling meetings and coordinating calendars
    • Monitor and respond to department emails as assigned
    • Help track volunteer activity, projects, or department tasks
    • Maintain accurate records and ensure information stays organized
    • Support department operations and special projects as needed

    Ideal Candidates

    • Organized and detail-oriented
    • Comfortable learning and using technology
    • Reliable and able to follow through on tasks
    • Strong written communication skills
    • Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar) and Zoom
    • Able to work independently while coordinating with a team

    Bonus Skills

    • Experience with CRM systems such as VAN, Action Network, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms
    • Experience with data entry, volunteer databases, or project management tools
    • Previous administrative, office, operations, or coordinator experience

    Time Commitment

    Flexible. Volunteers can contribute anywhere from a few hours per month to several hours per week, depending on department needs and availability.
