Description
Volunteer Kitchen Assistant to help run Recipe Club & Cooking Club. Duties include finding, shopping for, and cooking simple recipes with Members. Teaching kitchen skills, such as knife safety & Kitchen Set Up will also be needed. Start simple with making breakfast items like smoothies and pancakes. Graduate to making lunches including soup, sandwiches, and casseroles. Ultimate goal is to teach Members to make lunch weekly for all Members and to teach how to make take home sandwiches for all Members. Other things to teach will be measuring, stirring, mixing, plating, sanitation, using the Griddle, Convection Oven, blender, Cappuccino Maker and all other appliances that our group has on site.
