    Description

    Discover a different side of China while bringing smiles and knowledge to underserved children and teens! 💕 Join Us as an English Teacher Volunteer and lead fun, engaging activities that help students gain confidence in English.

    📕 You’ll be teaching groups of 15–30 in community centers, while living an authentic cultural experience.

    Your accommodation and domestic transport will be covered! 🚆🏠

    👩‍🏫 What you’ll do:

    Teach fun and interactive English activities to underserved kids and youth in rural China.

    Classes usually have 15–30 students in community centers or about 35 students in schools.

    🗓 Time commitment:

    Minimum of 1 week during school terms (September–December, February–June) OR during winter/summer holidays (January, July–August).

    ✅ Requirements:

    Be 18 years or older.

    Speak English confidently (native level NOT required).

    Love interacting with children and teens.

    Arrange your own visa, insurance, meals, and international travel.

    📍 Location: Schools and community centers outside of Shanghai.

    💡 What we provide:

    Accommodation & domestic transport (for 3+ weeks).

    Full training, resources & ongoing support (lesson planning, classroom management, English teaching techniques, etc.).

    Attend a training & briefing session.

    Confirm dates and placement location.

    📅 A typical week includes:

    Teaching 3–4 classes per day (each 40 min).

    Preparing lesson plans & activities.

    Assisting other teachers with tasks.

    Around 30 hours per week with 2 days off to explore, relax, or travel! ✨
