    Description

Like people? Like walking? Live in King County? If any (or all) of these are true, you might love this.

Acquaint Walks is a community walking program built around one simple idea: show up to a park, get paired with a neighbor, and walk. No agenda. No selling. No trying to convince anyone of anything. Just presence.

Rather than a few big walk events, Acquaint Walks are many small group walks scheduled by members of the community at times and places convenient for them. We're in beta — the app is live, we're testing it in real neighborhoods, and we need Walk Champions to help bring it to life.

    What Champions Do

There are no scripts, no facilitation duties, no special skills required. The only real job is showing up.

    Time Commitment

Flexible — you set your own schedule. We suggest 1–2 hours/week over the next 3 months as we build toward a full launch. More is great. Less is okay too.

    Why Now?

Acquaint already powers 30,000+ hours of human connection across 110+ countries through virtual peer-to-peer conversations. Acquaint Walks brings that same energy to your neighborhood — and King County is where it starts.

You'd be joining at the moment when it's still small enough that your involvement genuinely shapes what it becomes.
