    Event Day Volunteer - Komen Peoria MORE THAN PINK Walk

    This May, community members from around the Peoria area will gather together to celebrate the strength and resilience of all people affected by breast cancer while also raising vital funds to help Susan G. Komen invest in groundbreaking breast cancer research AND provide real-time assistance to help with treatment, medication, transportation services, and so much more.

    Volunteers play a critical role in the success of the MORE THAN PINK Walk.

    From helping us Set Up the expo area to distributing water along the course, there are plenty of ways for individuals and groups to get involved!

    If you have any questions or would like to chat more about how you can help ensure this year’s Walk is a day to remember, please do not hesitate to be in touch!

    2 shifts available:

    • Volunteers will assist with staging and/or placing event barricades, setting up tables, setting up water stations and placing signage and banners.: Friday May 08, 2026 - 12:00 to 16:00 CST
    • There are many ways to help on event day: Water Stations, the 'We Remember' tent, and more!: Saturday May 09, 2026 - 06:00 to 11:00 CST
