VOLUNTEER YOUTH WORKER - MUSIC PRODUCTION

We are seeking a passionate volunteer Youth Worker with hands-on experience in FL Studio and Logic Pro to support young adults aged 11-21 at our West London centre. The role runs every Thursday from 4pm to 8pm, and a DBS check will be required for successful applicants.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging music production sessions using FL Studio and Logic Pro, teaching basic to intermediate skills to young people

• Support participants in developing their creative ideas and building confidence through music

​

• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all attendees

​

• Collaborate with the core youth work team to plan and deliver session activities

​

• Maintain basic records of participant progress and attendance

​

• Adhere to all centre policies and safeguarding procedures

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience using FL Studio and Logic Pro for music production

• Ability to connect with and engage young people aged 11-21

​

• Commitment to working every Thursday 4pm-8pm

​

• Eligibility to undergo a DBS check

​

• Understanding of safeguarding principles and ability to act appropriately if concerns arise

​

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable

• Previous experience working with young people in a youth work, education, or community setting

​

• Knowledge of music theory or performance skills

​

• First Aid certification
