United Way of Tarrant County Card Writing Project (virtual)

Description
During the month of July, United Way of Tarrant County will collect cards of encouragement for students of all ages returning back to school in August. Cards collected will be distributed at our Community Resource Fair on August 8 at Artes de La Rosa (1440 N. Main Street, Fort Worth, TX 76164) and O.H. Stowe Elementary School (4201 Rita Lane, Haltom City, TX 76117). Any excess will be shared with multiple school across Tarrant County. This is a great family activity that can be done at home or an activity for the workplace!
The deadline cards must be received by is July 31.
How to participate:
Purchase blank notecards or create your own using printer or construction paper. There is no minimum number of cards to complete this project and envelopes are not required. If including envelopes, please do not seal them. Volunteers can sign your name but do not include your address. Get creative and add stickers or have children draw pictures for our students. If you are bilingual, feel free to write your card in English and your second or more language(s).
