    About LoopRoots Foundation

    LoopRoots Foundation is a nonprofit organization supporting justice-impacted individuals and their families through transportation, housing, mental health services, legal support, and workforce development. Our programs include LoopHome, LoopTalk, LoopConnect, LoopLegal, and LoopHousing, our upcoming transitional housing initiative.

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a Volunteer Grant Research Specialist to identify and track funding opportunities that align with our programs, especially in housing, reentry, and community support. This role is focused on building a strong pipeline of grants that our team can actively apply to.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research grant opportunities at the federal, state, and local level
    • Identify funding related to reentry, housing, mental health, and community programs
    • Track deadlines, requirements, and eligibility criteria
    • Build and maintain a structured grant pipeline (Zoho or shared system)
    • Organize opportunities by priority and readiness
    • Share consistent updates with the team on new opportunities

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with grant research or nonprofit funding (preferred)
    • Strong online research and organizational skills
    • Ability to track and manage multiple opportunities
    • Familiarity with grants.gov or similar platforms (a plus)
    • Interest in housing, reentry, or social impact work
