Volunteers must be 16 or older. Volunteers under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the shift.
Description
Join us in making a difference in the lives of families and individuals across our community! Rewrite Corporation is seeking dedicated volunteers to support our Community Food Distribution Program, which provides essential groceries and supplies to underserved families, seniors, and single mothers.
Volunteer Roles May Include:
- Assisting with unloading, sorting, and organizing food donations
- Packing grocery bags and hygiene kits for distribution
- Greeting and registering community members
- Helping with setup, cleanup, and overall event flow
- Delivering food to families unable to attend in person (as needed)
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented individuals
- Ability to lift 10–20 lbs (for some roles; lighter tasks available too)
- Passion for serving the community with kindness and respect
