    Description

    Be the first step in a lifesaving journey.

    As a Volunteer Blood Donor Ambassador, you’ll help create a warm, positive experience for every donor who walks through the door. From greeting donors and guiding them through check-in to offering sincere thanks for their lifesaving gift, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring each person feels welcomed and appreciated. Every shift you serve directly supports patients who rely on donated blood.

    Scheduling:

    Choose the blood drives that fit your availability. Drives are held at various Central Texas locations and typically last 4–6 hours.

    • Mission-Driven: Passionate about supporting donors and helping deliver lifesaving blood to patients
    • Age Requirement: Must be 16 or older
    • Professional & Confidential: Able to maintain donor privacy and respond appropriately to concerns
    • Strong Communicator: Comfortable engaging with people from diverse backgrounds
    • Tech-Ready: Willing to learn Red Cross tools and assist donors with them
    • Educator at Heart: Open to learning and sharing donor preparedness and optimization information
    • Reliable & Flexible: Dependable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
    • Health & Safety Focused: Committed to following current public health guidelines
    • Language Skills: English required; Spanish welcomed in some locations

    Additional Requirements

    • Reliable transportation
    • Availability for weekday morning shifts
    • Ability to volunteer consistently on an ongoing basis
    • Must be 16 or older
