    About IIAN

    Invisible Illness Awareness Network is a 100% volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness of invisible illnesses, chronic conditions, and disabilities. Through education, advocacy, and community-building, we work to reduce stigma, support patients and families, and drive meaningful change in healthcare and education. We have affiliates across the country and a growing digital presence.

    About the Role

    As a Short-Form Video Editor, you'll turn raw footage into engaging short-form videos for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Your work will help IIAN reach new audiences and spark meaningful conversations about invisible illness.

    What You'll Do

    • Edit short-form vertical video content (15–90 seconds) optimized for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts
    • Add captions, graphics, transitions, and music in line with IIAN's brand and style
    • Maintain accessibility standards (e.g. accurate captions, clear audio)
    • Deliver content on flexible, agreed-upon timelines
    • Provide input on trends and formats that could strengthen IIAN's video presence

    Who We're Looking For

    • Experience editing short-form video (portfolio or examples welcome but not required)
    • Familiarity with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar
    • Understanding of short-form video trends on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
    • Attention to detail and strong visual sensibility
    • Passion for advocacy, healthcare awareness, or disability inclusion
    • Students, emerging creatives, and experienced editors are all welcome
