    Description

    Elara Caring, one of the nation's largest providers of home-based and hospice care, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life companionship to local hospice patients and their families.

    We are officially accepting in-person volunteers! This includes: PATIENT LIVES NEAR CREEKSIDE HERE IN NEW BRAUNFELS

    • Reading stories
    • DOMINIES AND BOARD GAMES
    • ARTS AND CRAFTS
    • Meaningful chats
    • And providing emotional support for a patient as they navigate hospice care

    Hours are very flexible! You can choose from weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Typically, we ask you to donate an hour of your time once a week.

    The onboarding process includes a background check, and TB test to maintain compliance with the TEXAS Department of Public Health.
