At Providence Hospice, we believe in old-school connection—sitting face-to-face, sharing a conversation, and simply brightening someone’s day. Someone is waiting for a visitor. Take action today—call or stop by the office and let’s get you connected.

At Providence Hospice, you’re never on this journey alone. Our full-time Volunteer Coordinator will walk with you through the application process and training. You’ll have the opportunity to shadow experienced volunteers on visits until you feel comfortable and confident.

You’ll also be supported by our seasoned IDG team—nurses, social workers, and chaplains—who are there to guide and encourage you. With ongoing training and support, you’ll feel prepared to provide meaningful, compassionate care to every patient.

We serve a 60-mile radius from our office, but you’re always in control of how far you’d like to travel. You’ll choose the areas that work best for you. Before each assignment, you’ll learn about the patient and have the opportunity to choose visits that feel like the right fit for you.
