    Volunteer Opportunity: Kindergarten & Community Projects – Monkey Bay, Malawi

    Modzi Foundation is a grassroots charity organization based in Monkey Bay, Malawi. “Modzi” means “together.” We focus on kindergarten and early childhood education, community development, environmental protection, and support for vulnerable and street children. We partner with Fishnest Childcare and Learning Center, where most kindergarten activities take place.

    What You’ll Do

    • Assist in kindergarten/preschools with early childhood activities
    • Support basic English learning through play, songs, and storytelling
    • Help distribute learning materials
    • Support community-based projects
    • Organize art, music, sports, or talent activities
    • Participate in environmental clean-ups and community awareness activities

    Time Commitment

    • 3 hours per day, 4 days per week
    • Plenty of free time to explore Monkey Bay, Lake Malawi, and local culture

    Who Can Apply

    • Anyone with a kind heart and willingness to help
    • Passion for children, kindergarten, and community work
    • You do NOT need to be a professional teacher
    • Open-minded, flexible, and respectful of local culture
    • Basic English communication skills

    Costs & Support

    Free accommodation is available. Volunteers contribute USD 20 per day to support water, electricity, cleaning, maintenance, and projects.

    Free meals are provided.
