The League of Women Voters of San Francisco (LWVSF) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to defending democracy.
We are currently looking for Youth Council Mentors to help advise our youth! We have a thriving youth council, and would like to work to integrate our youth council into volunteer opportunities within our larger organization, to provide leadership development opportunities in advocacy, project management, communications, and public speaking.
Helpful skills a suitable volunteer might have include:
- experience working with youth, especially in a tutoring, coaching, counselling, or other leadership development capacity
- project management, to coordinate youth participation in ongoing projects
- interests in any of: advocacy, public speaking, or communications
Note that this position will require a background check.
