Volunteer at Friendship Place’s Music of Friends Concert 2026

Friendship Place is seeking volunteers to support our rescheduled Music of Friends Concert 2026, a special community event bringing together supporters, neighbors, and friends for an afternoon of music and connection.

The concert was originally scheduled for February but was cancelled due to severe winter weather. We are excited to gather again on the new date and would love volunteer support to help the afternoon run smoothly.

Event Details

Date: Sunday, August 30, 2026

Volunteer Time: 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Concert Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Doors Open: 1:00 PM

Location: Ambassade de France / Embassy of France 4101 Reservoir Rd NW

Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:

• Greeting guests as they arrive
• Assisting with check-in and wayfinding
• Helping guests move through the venue smoothly
• Supporting event staff with light event logistics
• Providing a warm, welcoming presence for Friendship Place supporters and attendees

Volunteer Appreciation

As a thank-you for your time and support, volunteers are invited to stay and enjoy the chamber music concert free of charge after their volunteer duties are complete.

Important Security Information

Because this event is being held at the Embassy of France, all volunteers must pass through Embassy security upon arrival. Volunteers will be required to present a government-issued photo ID and pass through a metal detector.
