    ABOUT US

    • Missing Pieces Support Group is a nonprofit organization founded by women who have personally experienced the heartbreak of pregnancy loss—from first-term miscarriages to stillbirths. Our mission is to uplift underserved communities through advocacy, education, and resource connection. We understand the emotional and physical toll of such loss and are committed to helping others navigate their grief.

Our mission is to bring awareness to pregnancy loss and offer support to grieving families by:

    • Providing informational resources,
    • Forming a mindful community that bridges the gap between similar support services
    • Providing a platform that gives families the opportunity to share their stories online.

We are seeking a passionate and strategic team player to join our team in a volunteer capacity. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in marketing, brand strategy, and social media management who wants to make a meaningful impact in the nonprofit sector. This is an unpaid/volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in donating their time to our non-profit, not a paid position.

This role is responsible for developing and guiding compelling, purpose-driven content across platforms, while maintaining visual and messaging consistency in collaboration with our graphic designer. This person brings together strategy, storytelling, and design guidance to ensure that our flyers, decks, event materials, and digital communications resonate with the right audience and drive meaningful engagement.

    • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences and platforms
    • Familiarity with brand strategy, visual identity systems, and cross-platform messaging consistency
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with designers, program leads, and fundraising/development teams
    • Experience with project management, including managing timelines, approvals, and multiple stakeholders
    • Proficiency in digital tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, or project management platforms (e.g., Trello, Asana)
    • A strong sense of empathy and cultural sensitivity when working with topics like pregnancy loss and grief
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
    • Passion for the mission of Missing Pieces Support Group and a commitment to using marketing for social impact
