Migrant Support Collective (MSC) is a fiscally sponsored project of Organized Communities Against Deportations (OCAD). MSC runs direct service and advocacy programs dedicated to supporting the well-being of migrants detained in the United States. By advocating for the rights of those impacted by the immigration detention system, we strive towards a future of collective liberation, where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.
MSC is based in Chicago, and operates on both a local and national level. Volunteers may be located anywhere, so long as they are consistently available for zoom meetings.
We are seeking volunteers to assist with our Pride in Migration fundraising campaign in June. As a fundraising volunteer, your job is to give people an opportunity to support migrant and LGBTQ+ rights. Fundraising is an integral part of community organizing that allows for sustained work. Making a small donation is often the first way that people get involved in community organizing - by volunteering with MSC, you get to help people take that first step!

Migrant Support Collective is committed to building an organization that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. This includes diversity in languages spoken, countries of origin, immigration status, culture, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, and gender identity. We encourage folks of all identities to join the collective.
