🏡 People & Welcome Volunteer

✨ Role Summary The JJ Center is growing, and we want to make sure every new person feels seen and supported from day one! We are looking for a team of three People & Welcome Volunteers to act as our "Welcome Wagon." Instead of one person handling everything, you will work as a supportive squad to greet new helpers, keep our community list tidy, and help people find their place within our teams.

What You’ll Do (Shared with your Squad):

• Greeting New Friends: Monitor the intake of new volunteers/interns and send out friendly "Welcome" emails.
• The Master List: Help keep our main community database up-to-date (noting who is active, on leave, or has moved on).
• Welcome Packages: Ensure new members receive their agreements/contracts and help save them into their digital portfolios.
• Intro Meetings: Help coordinate and set up "Interest Meetings" for people who want to learn more about volunteering.
• Team Matchmaking: Review applications to help match new volunteers with the right internal departments.
