By joining the Rutherford County Disaster Action Team (DAT) you become part of a group of friendly volunteers who show up to help a family in your own community navigate the aftermath of a personal disaster. We provide immediate care, guidance, and reassurance—helping individuals and families take their first steps toward recovery.
We’re looking for volunteers who want to make a real difference, right here at home. No experience needed—just compassion, reliability, and a willingness to help. If you want to be there for your community when it matters most, join DAT with the American Red Cross!
