Online Auction Organizer for our Nonprofit

We are holding our first ever online auction event late this fall and need a volunteer to head the committee working on this project. It could be 1 or 2 volunteers who will do overall planning and work with 2 to 3 internal volunteers who can help but have not done an auction before. Primary (but not all) duties would encompass:

1. putting together an overall plan and timetable
2. solicit auction donations from within the organization and from the wider community auction including specific themed gift baskets, gift cards, travel cards, etc.
3. select auction software such as GiveButter or ?
4. prepare communications timetable including emails, newsletter articles, communications with auction items donors, etc.
5. coordinate the online auction, determine winning bids, collect money, ship gifts to winners etc.
6. assign duties to other committee members and follow up to make sure duties are accomplished timely
7. communicate with OU board status of preparations and request assistance as needed
8. prepare an Online Auction procedures manual for use in future years
