    Description

Cook food for the homeless with Colorado FriendShip

Every Sunday, Colorado Friendship brings our trailer to the parking lot of the Justice Center in Boulder where we set up and serve a hot meal and distribute clothing to the homeless there.

We need volunteers to prepare the hot meal that we serve for about 60 homeless. Cooks would receive food and pots/pans from our food manager. They would then prepare the meal in their home on Sunday. The cook would then bring the meal to either our warehouse in Longmont by 4pm or to the Justice Center parking lot at 5pm.

Most cooks take 1 Sunday each month, but we would also be happy to have cooks willing to take 1 Sunday every other month or every third month.
