Greet visitors at public market

Market Ambassadors will fulfill a versatile role, assisting customers with tasks such as carrying groceries, providing food recommendations, and sharing details about the market's master plan. Greeters will also address general customer inquiries and concerns. Volunteers will work in teams of 4 to 6 and will take shifts staffing the information and merchandise booth, which will serve as a central hub for breaks and addressing more complex customer issues as well as selling market merchandise.

Qualifications:

• 18 years or older.
• Interest in the West Side Market.
• Comfortability with technology such as a cell phone and online payment methods.
• Desire to work with other volunteers.
• Ability to stand for up to 1 hour.
• Interest in working with the public.
• Ability to carry up to 20 pounds.

Days and times needed: Friday, and Saturday between 8am to 5pm. Shifts will range from 1 hour to 8 hours depending on volunteer preference.
