    Description

Help Bridge Communication Gaps and Make a Lasting Impact. If you are fluent in more than one language and have a passion for helping others, you can make a vital difference.

    What You'll Do:

As a Bilingual Caring Companion, you'll assist in communicating key information for individuals in need of health advocacy. Your role will include:

    • Interpreting to ensure our nurse advocates understand the needs of each individual we encounter, and respond with health education so it can be understood and implemented by those we serve.
    • Helping to bridge cultural gaps and ensure that every individual feels heard and understood.
    • Assisting with written translation for forms, resources, and educational materials.

Why Volunteer as a Bilingual Caring Companion?

By volunteering your language skills, you’ll be directly impacting the ability of individuals to access healthcare, understand their treatment options, and feel comfortable during their visits. Your work will provide critical support and heart to diverse communities in need.
