Membership Committee Member

Membership Committee members will strive to retain and increase Chapter membership, develop membership resources, maintain the member database, and create a welcoming environment for all.

Responsibilities of the committee may include:

• Maintain current roster of Pilchuck Audubon Society Chapter members
• Maintain current roster of National Audubon Society members within Snohomish County and Camano Island
• Assist with entering information into the membership database
• Welcome all new members and thank all renewing members
• Correspond with the public and/or members regarding membership status, questions, or issues
• Assist with writing membership letters (thank you letters, expired membership letters)
• Identify opportunities to increase chapter membership
• Help develop membership resources (i.e., review/update membership benefits, membership welcome and onboarding process, outreach materials)

Qualifications:

• Previous database experience (preferred but not required)
• Passion for the mission of Pilchuck Audubon and a dedicated interest in keeping common birds common and rare birds protected
• Excellent organizational skills
• Friendly, welcoming, and inclusive disposition
