    Description

    Volunteer Opportunity: Hospice Companion (Beacon of Hope Hospice)

    Beacon of Hope Hospice is seeking caring individuals to provide companionship to patients receiving hospice care. This is a non-medical role focused on simple, meaningful connection.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conversation and socialization
    • Reading or listening to music together
    • Providing a calm, supportive presence

    Commitment:

    • As little as 1 hour per week
    • Flexible scheduling

    Requirements:

    • 18 years or older
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Background check (fingerprinting may be required)
