    Description

    RESIDENTIAL COORDINATOR – (Live rent free)

    Location: Lexington, Massachusetts

    Can you make our house a home? Do you have what it takes to develop a warm, cooperative atmosphere for a residential home supporting adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities? Would you like to live in a private, one-bedroom apartment free of charge? (Imagine what you can do with the money you will save on rent – which would be nearly $30,000 per year in this area.) In exchange for your people skills and live-in duties, here is a rare opportunity to enhance the future of others and your own.

    As a Live-in Support Professional, you will:

    • Work with professional staff to encourage independence and life skills among residents
    • Ensure that the home operates in a safe, sanitary and organized way for the enjoyment of all residents.
    • Be a consistent presence in the home during overnight hours, and be available to assist staff in case of scheduling gaps or emergencies
    • Assist residential staff weekday mornings as they help individuals prepare for their day and are ready for their day programs, work or other activities
    • Teach and implement safety measures including successful fire and emergency procedures

    Enjoy the family environment you help to create in a lovely and convenient Lexington home, within walking distance of the town center. Minimum age for this position is 18.
