    AFS-Register with AFS to Volunteer for Many different challenging opportunities

    Volunteer families are most needed in the late summer for hosting AFSers that will arrive in August for the school year. and folks to servie as liaisons and uncles/aunts, plus welcome families throughout the year. Other opportunities are listed below.

    Volunteers in many areas are needed to work with the AFSers and families throughout the year. Some of the opportunities other than hosting are for transportation, coordinating school and returnee support, orientation and recognition involvement, temporary housing, newsletter and fund raising assistance, refreshements and assist with publicity, You may register at the local web site http://afsusa.org/misstennky/ and/or contact Becky Heywood, volunteer coordinator, at AFSbecky
