    Description

    Provide support for volunteer and internship programs

    We are looking for a volunteer to assist with a variety of administrative tasks in support of the organization's volunteer and internship programs. Individuals in this role strengthen connections with our volunteers, interns, supporters and the public. Among other duties, volunteers respond to inquiries from the public, perform data entry, and support our recruitment efforts.

    Becoming a volunteer

    Requirements for our volunteers:

    • Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strong familiarity with the Internet
    • Able to work well independently, use good judgment, and be reliable and responsive
    • Able to use discretion, keeping in mind the confidential nature of some aspects of the work

    Commitment policy:

    • Volunteers commit to a minimum of three hours per week for three months.

    Restrictions:

    • Volunteers must have access to a computer and access to the Internet.
    • All volunteers must successfully complete a criminal background check.
    • We do not accept court ordered community service.
