Gift of Giving, Inc. is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit that has been serving families throughout the Philadelphia region for more than 30 years. Our mission is to support families in achieving stability by meeting their everyday needs through financial assistance, nourishing meals, and the tools necessary for educational success.

We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Grant Writer to help us identify funding opportunities and prepare compelling grant proposals that support our programs and expand our impact.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Researching grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
    • Writing and editing grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents.
    • Collaborating with board members to gather program information and organizational data.
    • Tracking grant deadlines and assisting with grant reporting as needed.

    We're looking for someone with:

    • Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Previous grant writing or nonprofit fundraising experience is preferred but not required.

This is a meaningful opportunity to use your professional skills to make a lasting impact while gaining valuable nonprofit experience and expanding your grant writing portfolio.
