This is not a compensation role. This is a Board Member Volunteer "Fundraising Chair" position up to 5 hours a month. If selected, the serving term is 2 years.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Fundraiser to join our Nonprofit Board. The Fundraising Chair is a volunteer who will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our organization's mission and goals.
Responsibilities
- Utilize databases and market research to identify potential donors
- Manage donor relationships using software like Donor Box
- Conduct research on potential donors and grant opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and stakeholders
- Assist in public relations efforts related to fundraising activities
- Collaborate with the team on fundraising campaigns and events
Requirements
- Previous experience in fundraising or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in using fundraising software like Raiser's Edge, Donor Box, etc.
- Strong relationship management skills
- Excellent research and grant writing abilities
- Customer service-oriented with good communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- This position is 5 hours a month volunteer
