    Make A Difference, Portland! - Local Coordinator to Exchange Students Needed!

    Help make a difference in the lives of exchange students! We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, well-networked within the communities, and eager to make a positive impact. We need driven individuals with a servant heart to share the hosting opportunity within their networks, community, and beyond. Our non-profit offers supplemental income on a flexible schedule!

    Education Travel and Culture (ETC) is a non-profit [501(c)(3)] educational exchange organization. We find loving host families across the country for international high-school exchange students. We are looking for a part-time/supplemental income Local Coordinator to join our team and support our mission of spreading international goodwill.

    ETC Part-Time Local Coordinators (LC's):

      • Work closely with exchange students, host families, and local high schools including monthly oversight of the exchange student
      • Receive full training, teaching and ongoing support from the Field Manager
      • Share the hosting opportunity through connecting with people in person, social media, or other means.

    Community-Minded Individuals with a servant heart such as Teachers, Volunteers, and Social Workers make great Local Coordinators!

    LC's may recruit host families through reverse networking, job postings, phone calls and outbound emails. You will be compensated for each host family that you recruit. Your hours will be based upon how many families you recruit and exchange students you oversee.

    This is an independent contractor position which enables you to work at home and within your own schedule.

    Qualifications:

      • Ability to problem solve and support students and host families during the students' program
      • Self-motivated, organized, well-networked within the community
      • Driver’s License and transportation
      • Ability to pass a Background Check
      • Recruitment skills with the ability to screen potential leads (Nice-to-have)
      • Compensation is dependent upon recruitment efforts and student oversight. This position provides supplemental income ONLY**
