Fellowship Square: Social Media Volunteer, Hybrid

Do you enjoy writing, creating graphics, and sharing stories that inspire others? Fellowship Square is looking for a Social Media Volunteer to help highlight our communities, promote volunteer opportunities, and share our mission of supporting older adults through affordable housing and enriching programs.

This is a hybrid volunteer position, combining remote content creation with scheduled on-site visits to connect with staff and learn about resident programs and activities.

How You Can Help

• • Write engaging content: Draft social media posts and captions about upcoming events, community activities, volunteer opportunities, and our mission.
  • Create graphics: Design welcoming, eye-catching visuals using Canva or similar tools.
  • Plan upcoming posts: Help organize a content calendar and suggest ideas for celebrations, awareness campaigns, and community updates.
  • Showcase our impact: Highlight the contributions of volunteers, community partners, and programs that support residents.

Who We’re Looking For

A creative, reliable volunteer with strong writing skills, attention to detail, and an interest in supporting older adults. Familiarity with social media platforms and Canva or other design tools is helpful. Students, professionals, and anyone interested in sharing or developing their communications skills are welcome to express interest.

You’ll collaborate with staff to ensure all content reflects Fellowship Square’s mission, respects residents’ dignity and privacy, and is approved before publication. Scheduling and on-site expectations will be discussed prior to starting.
