DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL EVENTS & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Volunteer Builder Leadership Opportunity - consideration for future paid employment opportunities.

Some people attend events.

Others build them.

The Grandparents Community Network (TGCN) is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and community-minded Builder to lead our Events & Community Engagement Department.

We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, discovering opportunities, creating experiences, and helping organizations grow their visibility and impact.

In this role, you will identify local, state, and national opportunities for TGCN, coordinate community engagement efforts, lead signature events, and serve as a public representative of the organization. You will also play a key leadership role in planning and executing the KINnections Summit and building a team of volunteers who help bring events to life.

This is not a behind-the-scenes role.

We are looking for someone who will show up, build relationships, lead events, create opportunities, and help ensure TGCN has a presence in communities across the country.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, creative, organized, comfortable speaking with the public, and able to commit at least 20 hours per week.

At TGCN, volunteers are more than helpers.

They are Builders.

We are not looking for someone to fill a slot.

We are looking for someone who wants to help build something that will outlive all of us.
