    Description

    Volunteers Needed to help the San Ramon Valley Village, a new non-profit established to help seniors to continue to live in their homes for as long as they feel safe and comfortable doing so.

    The scope of services to the senior members includes 3 areas:

    1) Socialization opportunities

    2) Home based help to individual members by background checked and trained volunteers.

    3) Referrals to service providers.

    Please volunteer to help us in one or more of the following areas:

    1. On our Steering Committee where we need help getting our village going and maintaining our growth so we can support the seniors in our community.
    2. Provide support directly to our members who request help from our volunteers in the form of driving or simple home repairs or gardening or shopping, etc.
    3. Both 1 and 2 above.

    No experience is required, just some time and willingness to help.
