    Description

Measure Fabric to Prepare for Fabric Fair Sale

The Greater Pittsburgh Women's Auxiliary of The Salvation Army collects fabric, sewing patterns, craft supplies, and notions all year long and sells them at two Fabric Fair events per year, with proceeds being distributed among several Salvation Army programs. The 2026 Spring Fabric Fair is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, and the auxiliary is in need of some help to prepare.

Volunteers are needed to measure the length and width of pieces of fabric with a yard stick, fold them, and tie them into bundles so they can be priced by the Women's Auxiliary. Detailed instructions will be provided.
