Chapter Outreach Associate

Our Mission: We are building a Gen Z-led movement seeking to empower young leaders to advocate for
transformative policy and bold political action, predominantly at a state and local level. We are committed to a
bottom-up movement that prioritizes the needs of the communities we represent and seeks to reclaim our
future by advocating for social, economic, environmental, and other kinds of political reform.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Chapter Outreach Associate position is considered a departmental position within the Department of
Chapter Operations and reports directly to the Director of Chapter Operations. This role plays an essential
part in the organization’s mission to build and maintain a robust network of youth-led, pro-worker chapters
nationwide. The Chapter Outreach Associate focuses on direct community outreach, building and
maintaining relationships, and engaging with schools, students, and community partners who may be
interested in starting new chapters of Beyond the Ballot. This position helps ensure that the organization's
expansion efforts are inclusive, strategic, and aligned with Beyond the Ballot’s mission, values, and
long-term vision for chapter growth. Ideal candidates are passionate about youth leadership, civic
engagement, and equitable movement-building. They possess strong communication and organizational
skills, a collaborative spirit, and a deep commitment to supporting the growth of a national network of
student and community leaders.

information quickly; learn quickly and follow verbal procedures and standards; give verbal instruction; rank tasks in order
of importance; copy, compare, compile and coordinate information and records. Understand how to manage stress.
Remote Work Requirements: Regular access to a stable internet connection is required.
Additional Work Conditions & Physical Abilities: Ability to be flexible and adapt as needed between various in-person
working environments. May require travel to multiple states.
