Saturday Stream Snapshot (SSS) is a volunteer water quality monitoring program on the East Side of Cincinnati. We collect stream samples monthly on the 2nd Saturday at ~50 locations along the Little Miami River and its tributaries, and process them in our Level 2 lab in Loveland.
Great for river enthusiasts
An easy, rewarding way to help the river we love!
SSS collects baseline water quality data monthly as part of Ohio EPA's Credible Data Program. SSS data are used to inform regional municipalities and educate issues about water quality issues and what they can do to preserve, protect and improve water quality in the Lower Little Miami Watershed.
