Description
DHS is seeking established and upcoming local leaders with ethusiasm and commitment! The Board is the core legal governing body, responsible for the health of the organization. Board members plan and operate several fundraising events and educational programs throughout the year, and the Historical Society collaborates with the City of DuPont museum coordinator to operate the museum.
Board members:
- Plan special events
- Share a love of history
- Contribute personal talents
- Build skills and experience
- Work on museum projects
- Live, study, or work in DuPont, WA (or nearby)
Meetings are at 7:00 pm on the third Monday of most months, in person at the DuPont Museum or via Zoom. In addition, board members volunteer at special events and other activities as available. We are happy to know what skills you bring or what experiences you seek!
