    Description

Bring Joy as a Friendly Visitor

Stein Hospice is a small faith based non profit looking for volunteers who will visit with our patients. Sitting bedside reading aloud, talking, listening to music or even holding hands or sitting in silence brings a smile to the face of our bedbound patients (and you as well). There is a 2 hour per week minimum but the hours can be flexible. Our patients reside in nursing facilities, assisted living residences as well as private homes and apartments. We care for patients throughout Union, Middlesex, Hunterdon, Somerset, Mercer and Monmouth counties and volunteers from all counties are welcome and needed. Join us and share your compassion, interests and desire to give back to the community with Stein Hospice and our patients.
