🔹 Mission Context
The Partnership Officer will be responsible for building and managing strategic partnerships for WDC and the Michael App. This is a founding-level, entrepreneurial role that directly drives growth, impact, and credibility.
This person is expected to train partners, negotiate agreements, gather feedback, and expand the partnership network, while benefiting from a percentage of revenue/value they bring in.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with NGOs, institutions, governments, and other stakeholders
- Collect feedback from partners to refine offerings and improve engagement
- Train and onboard partners to use the Michael App effectively
- Build strong relationships and ensure WDC’s credibility and reputation
- Track partnership performance, revenue impact, and growth metrics
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and leadership to align partnership strategy with overall goals
🔹 Required Profile
- 3–7+ years in business development, partnerships, or sales
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to train and manage partner relationships
- Comfortable working in a mission-driven, early-stage environment
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset
Preferred:
- Experience in humanitarian work, international development, or tech platforms
- Ability to speak multiple languages for international partnerships
🔹 Compensation – Performance-Based
- Percentage of revenue/value generated from partnerships: 5% – 10% (negotiable based on profile and deal size)
- Clear tracking system for revenue attribution
- Paid monthly or quarterly
- Optional small stipend to cover basic costs (depending on candidate)
