    Description

    Point Defiance Park Work Party at the Rhododendron Garden, March 28, 9am-noon!

    Join Park Stewards and Volunteers to care for important Rhododendrons in the historic Rhododendron Garden at Point Defiance Park!

    Help to clear away weeds, prune branches, deadhead spent flowers, remove fallen woody debris, and add mulch to keep the garden healthy!

    This will be a very fun and fulfilling morning! Bring friends and lend your helping hands to care for the beautiful garden!

    All ages and abilities are welcome. Tools, training, and gloves provided.

    Directions

    Meet near the picnic shelter in the Rhododendron Garden. Enter the park from the back entrance at Mildred Street and take the Owen Beach detour. Parking will be past the garden on the side of Five Milde Drive.
