Making Blankets for Victims of the Spokane Fires

Binky Patrol is a 501c(3) nonprofit that works to make and donate handmade blankets for children and teenagers in need. Recently, Spokane had a series of devastating fires that caused the forced evacuation of over 65,000 people, with many returning to find their homes in ruins.

We are working to provide these families with a tangible source of love and comfort as they navigate their next steps. If you are interested in making blankets for this population, here is the address and information to ship:

Tuck a note in there that it's from you and Binky Patrol for the fire families. They will get them into the arms of those who are affected by the Spokane fires.

In terms of what blankets are accepted, we can accept any handmade crochet, knit, quilted, or tied fleece blankets as long as they are new and unused. Blanket sizes can range from newborn to the equivalent of a twin-sized beds to support children of all ages.
